Police in Kudawa-7 found murdered body of one-year old girl on July 31 night.

The police has identified that the body was of infant Anjali Kumari Sah, daughter of Mahesh Sah Kanu.

According to police, they found the child's body following information that she was strangled to death and buried near a canal near the village. Police said that the dead body was sent to Kalaiya hospital for the postmortem.

The deceased girl's father is on suspicion as he is at large, said Ram Nath Ghimire, police investigation officer. The search for him is on, according to Ghimire.
