Janakpur area has remained tense due to the Sanghiya Samabesi Madhesi Gathabandhan's protest since early Monday. The protesters have marched buffalos during the protest. A tense situation prevails in the area after the clash occurred between protesters and police. The protest was converted into a corner meet at Janakchowk after making a round of the town. The clash is still going on near Gopal Dharmashala and police have fired tear gas to take the situation under control, it is learnt.
