Cadres of Netra Bikram Chand (Biplov)-led CPN-M have captured land at Pyuthan Municipality-14 on December 27. According to District Secretary of Biplov-led CPN-M Ratna Bahadur Thapa Magar, land with a plot no. 1614 (00.350 sq ft) was captured by planting party flag. The land was transferred in the name of Buddha Bahadur GC of Chuja VDC-6 from Mishra KC of Bagdula in Pyuthan Municipality-14 12 years ago. The CPN-M accused Budhha Bahadur of transferring the land in his name by presenting fake documents. District Secretary Thapa said that the land would be returned to the rightful owner Mishra KC and if anyone obstructs him in using the land, the whole party would defend him. Budhha Bahadur said that he transferred the land in his name in 2003 and sold it to Madhu Sudan Pandit of Bagdula, Pyuthan Municipality-14 the same year. GC said that he sold the land after transferring it to his name as per the court order. He further said that the then CPN-M had given him trouble over the land and had kept mute after not being able to gather evidence.
