A 35-year-old man was hacked to death at Nepaledanda VDC-3 in the district on Wednesday night. Tham Bahadur Shrestha killed his friend Bhimlal Giri of Bharaul-3 with an axe over a minor dispute, police said. Both the victim and the perpetrator were carpenters. They were working together to build a house belonging to one Narayan Kathet. Police arrested fleeing Shrestha from Bhedetar in Dhankuta on Thursday.
