Involvement of Pallo Kirat Limbuwan in Murder

Police have said that cadre of Pallo Kirat Limbuwan Rastriya Mukti Morcha were behind the looting and killing of Bhakta Prasad Angdembe, 63, and Yamuna Yonghang, 3, of Sarangdada1.

 

District Police Office, Panchthar said that investigations revealed that a cadre of Pallo Kirat Indra Limbu, 36, of Jaljale1 in Sankhuwasawa District was the mastermind behind the incident. Police added that pamphlets and other documents of the group was also recovered from him.

 

Limbu was arrested by Damak police on August 21 with Rs 300,000 and 10 tola of gold. Limbu, along with Zaher sing Newang, 40, of Nawami dada4 in Panchthar, Man bahadur Limbu, 40, of Bhogteni9 in Morang, Man Prasad Limbu, 52, of Maunbudhak6, Dhankuta District have already been arrested by police and few are still at large, said Inspector Yam bahadur Paudel.

 

The group looted Rs 750,000 and 20 tolas of gold from Bhakta bahadur Adambe and Atal Bahadur Adembe's house on August 20 and also attacked and killed 2 persons with sharp weapons and seriously injured 5 others.

 

According to the victim Indra Kumari Yonghang, the group came with sword, khukuri, knife and guns.

Indra Kumari Yonghang, 27, Devi Maya Angdembe, 69, Indra Kumari Angdembe, 24, Sandep Yonghang, 8, and Atal Bahadur Angdembe, 68, who were injured in the attack are getting treatment in District Hospital, Panchthar.
