Tension flared up in Rangeli Bazaar in Morang district on Wednesday after Madhesi Morcha decided to disrupt CPN-UML youth wing Youth Association of Nepal’s programme to honour Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The agitating Morcha is firm to disrupt the honouring of the prime minister in Rangeli on Thursday and has called for a complete shutdown of the market area today. Morcha cadres have burnt tyres on major junctions of the market and have also barred vehicles movement. Large number of police personnel have been deployed after YAN cadres said that they would construct a stage later on today for the programme.
