A mentally ill, elderly woman was unfortunately gang-raped in Kathmandu on August the 24th. The rape resulted in mutilation so severe that the woman requires surgery because her uterus is essentially removed from her body. In a situation like this the Nepali government is supposed to provide free treatment, but due to government negligence they are refusing this woman treatment.
