The health services in the district have been affected since September 7 following transfer of the staffs of 19 health facilities of the district.

Assistant Health Workers and Auxiliary Nurse Midwifes of 19 health centers including that of Lower Swarad’s Rodidewal, Amchaura, Chaugadh area’s Shivaling and Sigas were transferred by the Health Ministry on Mid-July. One doctor, lab technician, vaccine supervisor and ANM of the District Hospital were also transferred affecting vaccination program, Hospital Chief Gunraj Awasthi said.

In the VDCs including Salena and Sakar have epidemic of viral fever. Birendra Chand of Salena9 complained that he had to go out of the VDC as there was no health attendant in the health center.
