A couple hailing from Nirmalidanda9 and currently living in Diktel6 have been expelled from their village on September 8 on charge of creating disturbance after consuming alcohol.
They have been given two months to leave the place or pay Rs 10,000 in fine.
Jeet Bahadur Rai, 45, was told to leave the village as he was always creating scene, one local Kishor Rai said.
Expelled Rai has not complained anywhere about the incident. CDO Deepak Raj Nepal said that he had no idea about the issue and that he would proceed further after inquiring about it.
