Mandikhatar trader held for cooking gas hoarding

A local trader of Mandikhatar was arrested on charge of hoarding cooking gas cylinders, on Thursday.
Bhuwan Prasad Parain, operator of Prasain Traders at local Janak Chok in Mandikhatar, Budhanilakantha-11, was arrested by a team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj, yesterday.
Police also confiscated 16 gas cylinders from the store.
Police said Prasain had hoarded the cylinders with an intention to sell them overcharging customers.
Further investigation is underway.
