Bibek Thagunna, 7, of Sipti VDC-6, a Grade 1 student in Empower Boarding School was beaten up by bamboo sticks on his hands and legs by his science teacher Puskaj Raj Joshi for not completing his assignment on February 22. The boy sustained injuries on his hand and legs, informed Health Assistant of Health Post Jaya Raj Bhatta. Earlier, the same teacher had beaten up Dinesh Thagunna, 7, of Sipti -5 of the same school. Principal Naresh Bohara said that the teacher committed a mistake and the victim was receiving treatment.
