Police have arrested two persons on charge of raping two girls in separate incidents on February 29. Hari Narayan Chaudhary, 56, of Itahari submetropolis-23 was arrested on charge of raping an eight-year-old girl while a 17-year-old boy was also arrested on charge of raping another eight-year-old girl on February 28. Chaudhary was arrested on charge of raping the girl at a field while the 17-year-old boy was arrested on charge of raping the girl while no one was at her home, said DSP Om Adhikari of Area Police Office Itahari. Both victims underwent medical check-up at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences on February 29. Police said that both accused were held in remand under rape case.
