Relatives of a 14-year-old girl of Chapagaun6 have accused police of trying to grant pardon to Nepal Army man Raj Kumar Pandey, who is accused of raping the girl.
Her family has filed a case against Pandey at the Metropolitan Police Circle Chapagaun on September 15, accusing him of raping the girl at her home on September 11. The accused army man lives in a rented room at same place.
According to the victim's relative, police has been refusing to register the case after finding that the accused is an army man. They said that police was trying to make a settlement.
The accused is an army man at the Rana Singh Dal Battalion, Kotdanda.
Health check-up of the girl was conducted at Patan Hospital, teacher at Banibilas Higher Secondary School Tara Sanjel said.
