An infant has been found buried in a potato farm in the district after being chopped by an unidentified person.
The District Police Office, Taplejung, said that the baby was found buried in the potato farm of Bal Bahadur Limbu of Taplejung Municipality-6.
The pieces of the baby have been collected and sent to the district hospital.
Limbu had informed the police on Monday after he saw the dead baby while digging the farm.
Police said they are investigating the case.
