Three persons accused of killing Narwada Limbu, 67, of KarkiChap in Bhedetar4 after rape have been sent to jail on September 24. The accused – Panthe alias Nitesh Biswokarma, 23, of Bhedetar VDC, Sher Bahadur Tamang, 17, and Gagan Tamang of Bodhe VDC – have been remanded in jail by the District Court order, said SI Haribol KC.
The elderly was allegedly gang-raped and killed with a blow on her head and chin with a split log and sharp weapon on August 21 by the accused who were in inebriated condition, SI KC further said.
A murder case was filed by her youngest daughter Kamala Limbu, 33, at the district police office against the accused.
