Police on Wednesday arrested a couple for their alleged involvement in the murder of a neighbour in Itumbahal of Kathmandu. Ghanashyam Aryal (30) and his wife Madhu Acharya (30), permanent residents of Nawalparasi district, were held. Police said the duo had fatally thrashed one Dayaram Dhakal (40) after the latter allegedly teased Acharya. Dhakal also hailed from Nawalparasi district and would reside in Itumbahal, police said. Further investigation is underway.
