Emergency room of hospital vandalized

2016-03-14

Bagmati, Chitawan, Ratnanagar

The emergency room of Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur has been vandalized at around 10 pm on March 14. Stones hurled from outside the compound broke the glasses of the emergency room and reached patient's bed, said Director of the Hospital Dr. Dayaram Lamsal. Staffs affiliated to CPN-M (Biplov), which has been protesting for a few days and cadres of the same party have pelted the stones, according to the hospital. The CPN-M (Biplov) has not taken responsibility for the incident. The patients of the emergency room have been transferred to another room after the vandalism. Staffs put forward 15-point demand, warning of physical activity if some demands were not met. The attack was a consequence of that warning, informed the Hospital.
