NC leader Narendra Kumar Chaudhary, Kaiyum Khan and Meghnath Chaudhary have been convicted of murder by the District Court, Banke on October 2.

The Court slapped them with life sentence and seizure of all their properties.

The trio was convicted of killing UML cadre Gulam Hussain Salmani of Betahani3 on April 12, 2010.

Other accused in the incident, Gyanendra Kumar Chaudhary, Mujibur Rahaman and Asharam Ahir of Betahani got three years in jail while Om Prakash Chaudhary of Betahani, Manoj Kumar Chaudhary, Gajendra Kairati and Keshari Nau of Patara got one year in jail.
