गढवा गाविस-५ चिल्लेमा मेला भर्न गएका केही युवाहरूबीच भएको विवादमा चलेको गोलीकाण्डको आरोपमा मधेसी जनअधिकार युवा फोरमका केन्द्रीय संगठन विभाग प्रमुख वीरेन्द्र चौधरीसहित १२ जना विरुद्ध प्रहरीले ०६९ कार्तिक ६ गते ज्यान मार्ने उद्योगमा मुद्दा दर्ता गरेको छ । घटनामा घाइते भएका आफन्तहरूले किटानी जाहेरी दिए पछि उनीहरू विरुद्ध मुद्दा दर्ता गरिएको प्रहरीले बताएको हो ।

गढवा गाविस-५ चिल्लेमा मेला भर्न गएका युवाहरूबीच भएको विवादमा गोली चल्दा ०६९ कार्तिक ५ गते राती करिब १ बजेतिर गंगापरस्पुर गाविस-८ बाँकीका १८ वर्षीय नारायण थापा, १९ वर्षीय वर्षात योगी र बुद्धिराम चौधरी घाइते भएका थिए । घाइतेमध्ये चौधरीको टाउको, योगीको खुट्टा र थापाको पेटमा गोली लागेको प्रहरीले बताएको छ । घाइतेको घोराहीस्थित राप्ती उपक्षेत्रीय अस्पतालमा प्राथमिक उपचारपछि थप उपचार नेपालगञ्जमा भइरहेको छ ।

चुरे क्षेत्र बचत तथा ऋण सहकारी संस्था गढवाको असोज २१ गते भएको निर्वाचनको विषयलाई लिएर गढवा गाविस-२ गढवा निवासी खुमबहादुर कुँवर र सुरेश योगीबीच सामान्य विवाद भएपछि मेलाबाट फर्किने क्रममा गोली चलेको प्रहरीले बताएको छ । गंगापरस्पुर खड्कपुर निवासी वीरेन्द्र चौधरीको नेतृत्वमा रहेको टोलीले आफ्नो साथी खुमबहादुर कुँवरमाथि आक्रमण भएको भन्दै तीन राउण्ड गोली प्रहार गरेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । घाइतेहरू मध्ये योगी र थापा तरुण इकाइका सदस्य रहेको र गोली प्रहार गर्नेहरू मधेसी लोकतान्त्रिक फोरमका कार्यकर्ता भएको कांग्रेस दाङले दाबी गरेको छ । घटना संग्नहरूको खोजी कार्य भइरहेको प्रहरीले बताएको छ ।

Police have registered a case of attempted murder against 12 men, including Birendra Chaudhary, central organization department chief of Youth Forum.

Police filed the case against Chaudhary, leader of MJF-affiliated Youth Forum and other men on October 22 after some youths who were injured in a shooting at Chille on Gadawa5 registered a complaint against him.

Narayan Thapa, 18, Barshat Yogi, 19, and Buddhiram Chaudhary of Banki in Gangaparaspur8 were injured in a shooting that ensued following a dispute between youths at Chille on October 21 night.

According to police, Buddhiram sustained a bullet to his head while Yogi and Thapa sustained bullets to their leg and stomach respectively. The injured have been rushed to Nepalgunj following primary treatment at Ghorahi-based Rapti sub-regional hospital.

Police said that the shooting took place following a dispute between Khum Bahadur Kunwar and Suresh Yogi of Gadawa2 over the issue of October 7 election of Chure Chhetra Saving and Loan Cooperatives, Gadawa. The group led by Birendra Chaudhary of Gangaparaspur Khadkapur opened 3 rounds saying that his colleague Khum Bahadur was being attacked, police added.

NC Dang has said that the injured Yogi and Thapa were members of Tarun unit while the assailants were cadres of MJF.

Police said that the search for assailants was underway.
