Volunteer injured in police firing during clash in Tarakhase of Gorkha

A volunteer deployed at Tarakhase polling center in Bhimsen Thapa rural municipality-2 of Gorkha was injured when police fired warning shots to control crowd. Police fired the warning shots after situation turned tense due to clash between Nepali Congress and CPN-UML cadres. According to SP Kedar Khanal, police fired warning shots to control the situation and protect polling booth from the clash. Volunteer Manisha Thapa sustained injury in the firing.
