72-year-old Nar Bahadur Sarki, a resident of Raralihi VDC-2, was arrested on April 29 in accusation of attempting rape on a 5-year-old girl on April 24. According to Inspector Dil Bahadur Thapa, the relatives of the victim had filed a complaint in District Police Office on April 29 and the accused was arrested on the same day from his residence. A medical examination of the girl was done at Karnali Academy of Health Sciences on April 29.
