Police have registered a case against 18-year-old Yogesh Jogi of Deumai Municipality-9 on June 19 on the charge of attempting to rape a 35-year-old woman with a physical disability. The Area Police Office of Mangalbare had arrested the accused on June 18 after locals informed about the incident to the police. The case was registered in court on June 19 according to Inspector Rudra Chudal. The victim underwent a health check-up at District Health Office of Ilam on June 19.
