Police have arrested Sanjeev Tumbapo, 29 of Phidim Municipality-7 on August 11 on charge of molesting a 13-year-old girl. The accused was arrested based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s relatives according to DSP Krishna Prasad Koirala. She underwent a health check up at District Hospital of Panchthar on August 11. On August 11, the victim’s relative had lodged a complaint at DPO. The victim was molested by the accused on August 6 in an inebriated state. The victim’s parents said that they could not lodge a complaint because of the pressure from locals. १३ वर्षीया बालिकालाई यौन दुर्व्यवहार गरको आरोपमा प्रहरीले फिदिम नपा-७ का २९ वर्षीय सञ्जिव तुम्बापोलाई साउन २७ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । पीडितका आफन्तले दिएको सूचनाका आधारमा आरोपितलाई गिरफ्तार गरिएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयका डीएसपी कृष्णप्रसाद कोइरालले बताए । पीडित बालिकाको स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण तथा उपचार जिल्ला अस्पताल पाँचथरमा साउन २७ गते गरिएको छ । पीडितका आफन्तले साउन २७ गते आरोपितविरुद्ध जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा उजुरी दिएका छन् । पीडित बालिकालाई असार २२ गते आरोपितले मादक पदार्थ सेवन गरेर दुर्व्यवहार गरेको पीडितका आफन्तले बताए । स्थानीयको दबाबका कारण समयमा उजुरी दिन नसकेको पीडितका अभिभावकले बताए ।
