Human trafficking towards Kyrgyzstan: girls are taken through Nepalgunj

India being the main destination for human trafficking are now taken to Kyrgyzstan through Border of Nepalgunj . This incident came into light when women were stopped at Nepalgunj-Rupediya where they said they are going to Kyrgyzstan through Delhi of India. Human traffickers in the name of foreign employment are sent to gulf countries through Nepalgunj and Delhi. Even though Nepal has opened gulf countries for employment but they consider India route illegal. January 2016 onwards 16 women are stopped at Nepalgunj border who were going to Kyrgyzstan through India. The women said that they get the visa in Delhi, India and go there. They earn more in Kyrgyzstan than in other countries. One girl staying at Maiti Nepal Shelter of Border after rescue stated that they go to Kyrgyzstan because they have to work inside the house. They only have to spend money to make passport and visa fee is free of cost. Most of the girls rescued from the border are under the age of 20. They had never been to India before.
