An incident of vandalism at a Nepal Telecom tower located in Kaichula of Pipalchauri VDC has come to light a month after it took place. A group of Nepal Telecom technicians who went to inspect the tower after being informed that the tower was not working properly, found that the internal parts of the tower were vandalized, wires were broken, others materials were stolen and unwanted things were written on the walls. Telecom chief said that the tower will be repaired only after the materials arrive from the regional office, Dhangadhi which may take up t a week. Telephone services in the area has meanwihle been obstructed. एक महिना देखि अबरुद्ध रहेको नेपाल टेलिकमको पीपलचौरी गविसको कैचुला टावरमा तोडफोड गरिएको तथ्य एक महिना पछि थाहा भएको छ । कैचुलामा रहेको टावरले काम नगर्दा बिग्रेको समाचार आएपछि मर्मतका लागि गएको नेपाल टेलिकमको प्राविधिकहरुको टोलीले पावर सिस्टममा समस्या आएको बताएपनि टावरमा रहेका भित्री सामानहरुमा तोडफोड गरिएको, तारहरु चुडेको, भार्याङ् लगायतका अन्य सामानहरु पनि चोरी भएको र भित्ताहरुमा जथाभावी लेखेको भेटिएको नेपाल टेलिकम दार्चुलाका प्रमुख ललित चन्दले जानकारी दिनुभयो । टावर जाच गर्न गएको प्राविधिकको टोलि जिल्ला फर्किसकेको छ भने आवश्यक समान आएपछि मात्रै टावर मर्मत गरिने पनि टेलिकमले जनाएको छ । क्षेत्रिय कार्यालय धनगढीबाट समान आएपछि मात्रै मर्मत गर्न मिल्ने भन्दै टेलिकम प्रमुख चन्दले चाडोमा एकहप्ता सम्म समय लाग्ने बताउनु भयो । त्यस क्षेत्रमा टेलिफोन सेवा अवरुद्ध हुदा जिल्लाको दुहु क्षेत्रमा रहेका आधा दर्जन गाविसका सेवाग्राही फोनसेवाबाट बन्चित भएका छन् ।
