Explosions at Two Tarai Districts

There have been two separate explosions in two districts of Tarai in two days.

 

In Dhanusha, a socket bomb went off at the District Development Committee Office on April 1. There was on bomb at the gate of the DDC of which one went off while the remaining two were defused by the NA bomb disposal team, Inspector Govind Puri said.

 

ATMM central committee member Prabin claimed that his group had placed the bombs.

 

Similarly, in Kapilbastu, two pipe bombs exploded at the house of UCPN-M district in-charge, Ramlautan Tiwari at Semraiti in Pakadi6.

 

Police suspected that the devices could have been stored since the conflict time. They informed that the explosion had caused a crack in the wall adding they were investigating the case.
