The District Court of Dang has ordered to sentence five years to 60 years old Kewal Khatri of Tulsipur municipality of Dang on November 24, after finding him guilty of raping a 42 years old woman. A single bench of District Court Judge Churaman Khadka had given a verdict regarding the case. He was further ordered to compensate Rs 20,000 to the victim by the court. The incident took place on September 13 and the complaint was lodged at Area Police of Dang by the victim. He was immediately arrested by the police on September 18 after the complaint was lodged against him. The victim underwent a health checkup at Rapti zonal hospital on September 13. J.N Sagar ४२ वर्षीया एक महिलालाई बलात्कार गरेको ठहर गर्दै दाङ जिल्ला अदालतले तुलसीपुर नपा-१० भट्टेका ६० वर्षीय केवल खत्रीलाई पाँच वर्षकैद गर्ने फैसला गरेको छ । न्यायाधीश चुरामण खड्काको इजलासले मङ्सिर ९ गते घटनामा दोषी ठहर गर्दै खत्रीलाई पाँच वर्षकैद तथा पीडितलाई २० हजार रुपियाँ क्षतिपूर्ति उपलव्ध भराउने फैसला सुनाएको अदालतका श्रेष्तेदार गम्भीर रानाले जानकारी दिए । पीडित महिलालाई आरोपितले गएको भदौ २८ गते बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा पीडितले इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय तुलसीपुरमा सोही दिन उजुरी दिएकी थिइन् । उजुरी लगत्तै प्रहरीले आरोपितलाई असोज २ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको थियो । पीडित महिलाको स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण राप्ती अञ्चल अस्पताल तुलसीपुरमा भदौ २८ गते नै गरिएको थियो । जे.एन.सागर
