At least six child labours have been rescued from Jayabarahi brick kiln at Changunarayan Municipality Duwakot on November 29 in coordination with Children search centre of Bhrikutimandap. The child labours were between 12 to 16 years of age according to Representative Santosh Adhikari of the centre. It was found that the children were employed in hard labour work by luring them from the village without the consent from their parents according to the centre. The family had complained about the missing of their children at a Police Office. The rescued children will be handed over to their families according to the centre. Police have arrested kiln operator Lok Bahadur Nepali of Rolpa, Jagar-5 on November 29 on a charge of employing a child as labour.
