Proven guilty for the attempt rape of a 61-years-old woman, 31-years-old Nar Bahadur Kumal has been sentenced for 2 years and 6 months in jail. Dilli Raman Tiwari's bench in District Court of Palpa gave the verdict on 11 January 2017. The rape attempt was made on 11 September 2016. The complaint against the attempt was lodged by the relatives of victim on 13 September 2016. The accused was arrested based on the day the complaint was lodged. ६१ वर्षीया महिलालाई बलात्कार प्रयास गरेको ठहरसहित जिल्ला अदालत पाल्पाले सिद्वेश्वर–४ का ३१ वर्षीय नरबहादुर कुमाललाई बलात्कार प्रयास गरेको ठहर सहित २ वर्ष ६ महिना कैदको फैसला सुनाएको छ । न्यायाधीश डिल्लीरमण तिवारीको पुस २७ गतेको इजलाशले उक्त फैसला सुनाएको जिल्ला अदालत पाल्पाका स्रेस्तेदार सुवर्ण खनालले बताए । पीडित महिलालाई आरोपितले गत भदौं २६ गते बलात्कार प्रयास गरेको आरोपमा पीडितका आफन्तले भदौ २८ गते जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय पाल्पामा उजुरी दिएका थिए । आरोपितलाई भदौ २८ गते नै प्रहरीले गिरफ्तार गरी मुद्दा चलाएको थियो ।
