मोरङ । वैशाख ३ गते अपाङ्गता भएकी एक १८ वर्षीय महिलालाई बलात्कार गर्ने प्रयास गरेको आरोपमा प्रहरीले शनिश्चरे गाविस-९ स्थित भुटानी शरणार्थी शिविरका ४२ वर्षीय दीपक गिरीलाई ०७० वैशाख २ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय पथरीका इन्स्पेक्टर बुद्ध श्रेष्ठका अनुसार, आरोपितले पीडितलाई घरैमा गएर वैशाख १ गते बलात्कारको प्रयास गरेका थिए । स्थानीय अधिकारकर्मी सुशीला मगरातीको सहयोगमा इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय पथरीमा पीडित पक्षले वैशाख २ गते उजुरी दिएको छ । उजुरीपछि अनुसन्धान थालिएको छ प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । दीपेन नेउपाने Morang/ April 16 Deepak Giri, 42, of Bhutanese refugee camp in Sanishare VDC-9 has been arrested by the police on April 15 on charge of attempting to rape an 18-year-old girl with disability. According to Inspector Buddha Shrestha of Area Police Office Patthari, the accused attempted to rape the girl on April 14 inside the victim’s house. The complaint has been lodged at the area police office with the help of local rights activist Sushila Magarati on April 15. The incident is under investigation, according to the police office.
