[Updated] A woman was found dead with stab injuries seen on her body near Khalanga Bazaar of Jajarkot district on Sunday morning. Police suspected that 28-year-old Radhika Sunar, who hailed from Bohara in Bherimalika-4 of Jajarkot, was fatally attacked with khukuri. The body was recovered from Pasagaad, a local river, at around 9 am. People and motive behind the gruesome murder are yet to be known, police said. The body was sent to the District Hospital for autopsy. The victim is survived by her husband and two sons, aged seven and three years. It has been learned that her husband is with Nepal Army. जाजरकोटमा एक महिलाको विभत्स हत्या गरिएको छ। भेरीमालिका नगरपालिका–४ बोहरा की २४ वर्षीय राधिका सुनारको हत्या भएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ। प्रहरीका अनुसार भेरीमालिका नगरपालिका–४ स्थित पासागाड खोला नजिक ति महिलाको शनिवार राति हत्या भएको हो। महिलाको पेटमा छुरा रोपिएको र हातका आैंला काटिएको अवस्थामा फेला परेको प्रहरी नायव उपरीक्षक भावेश रिमालले जानकारी दिए। घटनाको प्रकृति हेर्दा लखेटी लखेटी मारिएको देखिएको रिमालले बताए। हत्यामा संलग्न भएको आरोपमा मृतकका पति दलबहादुर सुनारलाई पक्राउ गरिएको छ। घटनास्थलमा एउटा खुकुरी र जुत्ता फेला परेको छ। घरायसी झगडाका कारण पतिले नै हत्या गरेको मृतकका माइतीले आरोप लगाएका छन्। मृतकका पति सुनार नेपाली सेनाको सुर्खेतस्थित नरसिंह दल गणमा सिपाहीमा पदमा कार्यरत छन्। यस अघि पनि पति दलबहादुरले ति महिलालाई पटक–पटक कुटपिट गरेर घरेलु हिंसा गर्ने गरेको मृतकका भाइ गोविन्द महरले बताए। हप्ता दिन अघि विदामा घर आएका पति दलबहादुरले दिनहुँ चरम यातना दिने गरेको प्रहरी अनुसन्धानबाट खुलेको छ। घटनाबारे थप अनुसन्धान भइरहेको प्रहरी प्रमुख डिएसपी रिमालले जानकारी दिए। Update.... Head Constable Kamal BK fatally attacked Radhika Sunar (28) with a khukuri on Saturday night and threw the body into a local river, Pasagaad, police said. भेरीमालिका नपा-४ की २८ वर्षीया राधिका सुनारलाई धारिलो हतियार प्रहार गरी हत्या गरेको आरोपमा रोल्पा लिवाङ नपा-४ घर भई जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय जाजरकोटस्थित मुद्दा फाँटमा कार्यरत प्रहरी हवल्दार ३४ वर्षीय कमल बिकलाई प्रहरीले माघ २६ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । राधिकाको शव जिल्ला सदरमुकाम खलङ्गा नजिकै रहेको पासागाड खोलामा माघ २३ गते फेला परेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयका डिएसपी भावेश रिमालले बताए । शवको जिल्ला अस्पताल जाजरकोटमा पोष्टमार्टम भएको रिमालले बताए । मृतक राधिकाको मोबाइल नम्बरको कल डिटेल अनुसार हत्यामा प्रहरी हवल्दार संलग्न रहेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयका अनुसार आरोपित प्रहरी हवल्दारलाई अदालतबाट म्याद थप गरी ज्यान मुद्दा चलाउने तयारी भइरहेको छ । घटनामा प्रहरी हवल्दारको संलग्न रहेको पत्ता लागेपछि अनुसन्धानको लागि प्रहरीले माघ २३ गते गिरफ्तार गरेका राधिकाका पति दलबहादुरलाई प्रहरीले माघ २६ गते रिहा गरेको छ । हत्यामा संलग्न व्यक्तिलाई कानुनी कारबाहीको माग गर्दै आन्दोलित आफन्तजन र सदरमुकामका महिलाहरूले माघ २६ गते जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय घेराउ गरेका छन् । आन्दोलित पक्षले मृतकका बालबालिकाको शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, गास, बास र कपासको व्यवस्था गर्नुपर्ने लगायतका माग राखेका छन् । जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा ठूलो सङ्ख्यामा आन्दोलनकारीले नारा लगाउँदै घेराउ गरेपछि डिएसपी भावेश रिमालले आन्दोलन भइरहेको स्थानमा पुगी घटनाका बारेमा जानकारी गराउँदै प्रहरीको अनुसन्धानबाट राधिकाको हत्यारा पत्ता लागि सकेको र प्रहरीले ज्यान मुद्दा चलाउने तयारी गरिरहेको बताए । Update -------- Police head constable gets life for murdering lover The Jajarkot District Court has sentenced Nepal Police Head Costable Kamal Sunar to life imprisonment with confiscation of properties after he was found guilty of murder. The single bench of district Judge Lila Raj Adhikari on Sunday passed the verdict against Kamal after he was convicted of murdering 24-year-old Radhika Sunar of Bherimalika Municipality-4 in the district. The victim’s brother Gobinda Sunar filed a case against Kamal on rape and subsequent murder charge. The court, however, acquitted him on rape charge as there were no proofs of the crime in postmortem and medical reports. Kamal, who had been posted at Jajarkot District Police Office, hacked Radhika to death on February 3. Her mutilated body was recovered from a forest some two kilometres from her house. The perpetrator was suspected to have killed Radhika after committing rape as the body was found naked. The victim’s husband is a Nepal Army soldier. A police investigation showed that she had an extra-marital affair with Kamal.
