Cadres of SLMM staged a lantern rally in Mahottari district headquarter Jaleshwor on Tuesday against the announcement of Local Level Election date. A meeting of cabinet of ministers on Monday evening had decided to hold the Local Level Election on May 14, 2017. Citing that the government went ahead with announcement of Local Level Election Date without resolving the issue of Statute amendment proposal tabled in the parliament SLMM cadres staged protests and lantern rallies in different places throughout Terai. संविधान संशोधनलाई पाखा लगाएर सरकारले निर्वाचन मिति घोषणा गरेको विरोधमा मधेसी मोर्चाले मंगलबार महोत्तरी सदरमुकाम जलेश्वरमा मसाल जुलुससहित प्रदर्शन गरेको छ । सयांै संख्यामा उपस्थित मोर्चा नेता–कार्यकर्ताले मसाल बोकी महोत्तरीको सदरमुकाम जलेश्वर नगरपरिक्रमा गर्दै बुधबार महोत्तरी पूर्णरूपमा बन्द रहने दाबी गरे ।
