A group of around two dozen UDMF cadres and locals have obstructed implementation work of new local body restructure in Pipara ad Matihani rural municipalities (gaupalika) by padlocking the offices of the rural municipalites. They have also threatened the authorities of the two rural municipalities not to carry out any work related to the implementation of local level restructuring. They are protesting against the formation of local body without taking population in to consideration. संयुक्त लोकतान्त्रिक मधेसी मोर्चाले आज कार्यालय सञ्चालन गरे भौतिक कारबाही गर्ने चेतावनी दिँदै महोत्तरीका दुईवटा गाउँपालिकामा तालाबन्दी गरेका छन् । मोर्चाका कार्यकर्ताले जिल्लाको पिपरा गाउँपालिका र मटिहानी गाउँपालिकामा कामकाज गर्न पुगेका अधिकृतलाई काम गर्न नदिएर दुवै गाउँपालिकामा तालाबन्दी गरेका छन् भने कामकाज गरे भौतिक कारबाही गर्ने चेतावनी दिएका छन् । दुई दर्जनभन्दा बढी सङ्ख्यामा पुगेका मोर्चाका कार्यकर्ताले दुवै गाउँपालिकाको पर्खालमा कामकाज नगर्नु र गरे भौतिक कारबाही गर्ने भनी लेखेर पर्चा टाँसेको मोर्चा नेता सुरेश पाण्डेले बताए । मोर्चाको तालाबन्दीका कारण आज ती दुवै गाउँपालिकाको कार्यालयबाट कुनै पनि कामकाज हुन सकेन ।
