A man has been severely injured after an unidentified group of people shot him in the wee hours of Wednesday in Bishrampur VDC of Rautahat district. The injured has been identified as a local resident, Ram Ekwal Yadav (42), informed the Rautahat District Police Office. The armed gang shot Yadav in the head from a window of his house while he was sleeping. Yadav is said to be critical and is currently undergoing treatment at the Chure Hill Hospital in Hetaunda.
