Agitated leaders and cadres of SLMM on Sunday staged a demonstration and have picketed DEO in Rajbiraj as per their program schedule by the centre. The rally starting from local Shiva temple and made around different parts of city chanting different slogans. The rally was ended with a sit-in at the main gate of DEO. Due to the protest, the work at the office was halted. संबिधान संसोधनको नयाँ प्रस्तावले पनि आफुँहरुको माग सम्बोधन नगरेको भन्दै बिरोधमा उत्रेको संयुक्त लोकतान्त्रिक मधेसी मोर्चाको केन्द्रीय कार्यक्रम अनुसार आइतबार मोर्चा कार्यकर्ताले सदरमुकाम राजबिराजमा प्रदर्शन गर्नुका साथै जिल्ला निर्वाचन कार्यालय घेराउ गरेका छन् । स्थानीय शिव मन्दिर प्रांगण बाट निस्केको जुलुस नाराबाजी गर्दै नगरका भिभिन्न भाग परिक्रमा गरि जिल्ला निर्वाचन कार्यालयको मुलगेटमा गई धर्नामा परिणत भएको थियो । धर्नाका कारण दिनभर निर्वाचन कार्यालयको सबै कामकाज ठप्प भएको थियो ।
