Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM), Banke staged a sit-in in front of election office on Sunday, 16 April in Nepalgunj. Madhesi Morcha held the sit-in from 3 p.m to 5 p.m as per their program schedule. Speaking in the protest they have threaten that the election will not happen in Tarai region. संयुक्त लोकतान्त्रिक मधेशी मोर्चा, बाँकेले जिल्ला निर्वाचन कार्यालयमा आइतबार घेराउ गरेको छ । मोर्चाको निर्धारित कार्यक्रम बमोजिम दिउँसो ३ बजेदेखि बेलुकी ५ बजेसम्म घेराउ गरिएको थियो । 'हाम्रो माग पुरा गर, संविधान संसोधन गर' लगायतको नारा लगाउँदै मोर्चासम्बद्धहरुले कार्यालय घेराउ गरेका थिए । विरोध कार्यक्रममा बोल्दै अधिकांश वक्ताहरुले सरकारले पहाडमा चुनाव गराएपनि मधेशमा हुन नदिने चेतावनी दिएका थिए ।
