Police have arrested 25 years old Santosh Sharma Bahadi of Kathari Village Council-9 on June 7 on charge of raping an 18 years old girl. The victim’s family had lodged a complaint at Police Office against the accused January 17 on charge of raping victim on January 8. The accused was absconded after the incident and search for him was going on according to the police. DSP Yogendra Singh Thapa of DPO said that necessary action will be taken against him as per legal provision.
