Police have arrested six cadres of agitating Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal (RJP-N) for organising anti-election activities in Parasi, the district headquarters of Nawalparasi, on Thursday. The arrestees have been identified as central vice-chairperson Govinda Chaudhary, district coordinator Puran Chaudhary, leaders Radheraman Pandey, Bijay Agrahari, Om Prakash Chaudhary and Abhimanyu Yadav, according to SP Rajendra Chaudhary of District Police Office, Nawalaparasi. Earlier on Saturday, as many as 26 cadres of the RJP-N were arrested for staging anti-election protests. Later, they were released on Monday. The party, formed after unification f six Madhes-based parties, has been protesting the local level elections by hoisting black flags in the houses. राष्ट्रिय जनता पार्टीका केन्द्रीय उपाध्यक्षसहित ६ नेतालाई प्रहरीले बिहीबार सदरमुकाम परासीबाट पक्राउ गरेको छ । निर्वाचन विरोधी गतिविधि गरेको भन्दै केन्द्रीय उपाध्यक्ष गोविन्द चौधरी, जिल्ला संयोजक पुरन चौधरी र नेताहरु राधेरामण पाण्डे, विजय अग्रहरी, ओमप्रकाश चौधरी अभिमन्यू यादवलाई पक्राउ गरेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयका प्रमुख एसपी राजेन्द्रप्रसाद चौधरीले जानकारी दिए । निर्वाचन गतिविधिमा असर पर्ने क्रियाकलाप गरेको आरोप लगाउँदै उनीहरुलाई प्रहरीले नियन्त्रणमा लिएको हो । यसअघि प्रहरीले शनिबार पनि राजपाका २५ भन्दा बढी नेता कार्यकर्तालाई पक्राउ गरी सोमबार छाडेको थियो । राजपाले आफ्नो पकड मानिने क्षेत्रमा कालोझण्डा घर घरमा राखेर विरोध जनाउँदै आएको छ ।
