A minor girl has been injured when a bomb planted in a shop went off in Chandranigahpur on December 29.

An unidentified gang had detonated a time bomb in a toilet attached with warehouse of a grocery shop belonging to Kalu Man Shahi of Chandranigahpur7, police said, adding that eight-year-old Rohisa Shahi suffered minor injuries in the blast and she has been receiving treatment in a local clinic.

Meanwhile, one Avaya Singh claiming himself as Bhojpura coordinator of Janatantrik Terai Madhes Party has claimed responsibility of the incident over phone to local journalists on December 30. <
