Morang/ June 4 A complaint has been lodged by Geeta Devi Gangai, 37, of Amardaha VDC-7 at District Police Office against her husband Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Sukalram Gangai, 45, on June 3. The victim accused him of beating her. According to the victim, Sukalram attacked in her face with mobile phone and punched and kicked in different parts of her body over a family dispute on the night of June 3. She further said that she was injured many times before in his attack. The victim is getting treatment at Koshi Zonal Hospital in Biratnagar. The accused has been arrested by the Area Police Office in Rangeli and handed over to the District Police Office, according to Suma Karki, Chief of Women and Children Service Center of the DPO. The accused has been charged with domestic violence according to Karki.
