A woman has died from her son's beating in Sarlahi. The deceased has been identified as 54-year-old Sukunidevi Mandal of Dhankaul-1 Sekhaina in Sarlahi. Sukunidevi's son Mahesh Mandal, 30yrs, reportedly punched her to death on Wednesday after the mother and son ran into a dispute over cutting tree, informed inspector Lalankumar Kurmi of Area Police Office Barhathawa. According to locals, Sukunidevi sustained deep injury on her head and lost her teeth. Police have taken Lalankumar and his wife for investigation. Meanwhile, the deceased woman's body has been sent to Malangawa hospital for post-mortem. सर्लाहीको धनकौल–१ सेखैनामा छोराको कुटाइबाट ५४ वर्षकी आमा सुकुनिदेवी मण्डलको ज्यान गएको छ । बुधबार दिउँसो खेतको सिमानामा रहेको रुख काट्ने विषयमा आमा छोराबीच विवाद हुँदा ३० वर्षका महेश मण्डलले मुक्काले हानेर आमाको हत्या गरेको इलाका प्रहरी कार्यलय बरहथवाका प्रहरी निरीक्षक ललनकुमार कुर्मीले जानकारी दिनुभयो । छोराको मुक्का प्रहारबाट आमाको दात भाँचिएको र टाउकोमा लागेको गहिरो चोटका कारण ज्यान गएको स्थानीय बासिन्दाले बताएका छन् । हत्यामा संलग्न छोरा बुहारी दुवैलाई प्रहरीले प्रकाउ गरेको छ । सुकुनिदेवीको शव परीक्षणका लागि मंलगवा अस्पताल लगिएको छ ।
