A team from the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority today caught a first class non-gazetted officer at the Kavre District Court red-handed with bribe money. The anti-graft body caught first class non-gazetted officer Rajendra Khatri with Rs 125,000 bribe money from Dhulikhel Bus Park. The CIAA stated that Khatri had taken bribe money with a promise to settle the case of the accident that took place in Bhumlu Rural Municipality along the Araniko Highway almost a month ago in Kavre. Purna Bahadur Pandey of Bigu Rural Municipality-4, Dolakha was injured when a mini tipper hit a Bolero jeep. An official at the anti-graft body said Khatri had demanded Rs 125,000 with Dol Prasad Dulal, the father of mini-tipper’s driver, threatening that his son would be sent to jail for eight years if the sought money was not given. The injured Pandey’s relatives had filed a case against mini-tipper driver Sudip Dulal. Dol Prasad Dulal registered a complaint with the CIAA after Khatri demanded bribe money. Khatri has been sent to the CIAA custody for further investigation into the matter. सेवाग्राहीसँग घूस लिंदै गर्दा जिल्ला अदालत काभ्रेका नायव सुब्बा सूर्यबिनायक नगरपालिका १० का राजेन्द्र खत्री पक्राउ परेका छन् । अख्तियार दुरुपयोग अनुसन्धान आयोगको टोलीले खत्रीको स्कुटरमा राखेको १ लाख २५ हजार नगद बरामद गरेको हो । बढी कैद सजायको त्रास देखाउँदै खत्रीले सिन्धुपलाञ्चोकका सुदीप दुलालको परिवारबाट रकम असुलेका थिए । सुदीपले चलाएको बा ३ ख ८४०४ नम्बरको ट्रिपर र बा १५ ड ३५६८ नम्बरको जिप ठोक्किदा चालक पूर्णबहादुर पाण्डे र प्रदीप शिवाकोटी घाइते भएका थिए । घाइते दुवैको दुलालको परिवारले उपचार खर्च बेहोरेर डिस्चार्ज भइसकेका छन् । अंगभंग मुद्दामा ८ वर्षसम्म कैद हुनसक्ने त्रास देखाउँदै खत्रीले रकम असुलेका हुन् । दुलाल भने सोमबार नै न्यायाधीश श्यामसुन्दर अधिकारीको आदेशबाट ५ हजार धरौटीमा रिहा भएका छन् । खत्रीले आजै रकम बुझेलगत्तै अख्तियारको टोलीले पक्राउ गरेको हो ।
