Police have arrested youth leader Shankar Tamang of Nepal Communist Party led by Biplov on November 15. He was arrested by the police from Tansen Municipality ward number 6, Laharepipal according to SP Dilli Raj Panta of District Police Office. SP Panta said that he was taken into control as anti-election activities are rampant in other districts. His arrest is to minimize such activities. Tamang is under investigation and public offence case will be lodged against him. The security has been tightened in the district as series of explosion is taking place in some district. विप्लव नेतृत्वको नेपाल कम्युनिष्ट पार्टीका युवा नेता शङ्कर तामाङ (दर्पण) लाई प्रहरीले कात्तिक २९ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । पार्टीनिकट युवा सङ्गठन राष्ट्रिय युवा जनस्वयम्सेवक पाल्पाका संयोजक समेत रहेका तामाङलाई प्रहरीले तानसेन नगरपालिका वडा नं.-६ लहरेपिपलबाट गिरफ्तार गरेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय, पाल्पाका एसपी डिल्लीराज पन्तले बताए । बाहिरी जिल्लाहरूमा चुनाव विरोधी गतिविधि बढेपछि पाल्पामा सम्भावित घटना न्यूनीकरणका लागि तामाङलाई नियन्त्रणमा लिएको उनले बताए । तामाङबारे अनुसन्धान भइरहेको र सार्वजनिक अपराधको मुद्दा अगाडि बढाउने एसपी पन्तले बताए । उनका अनुसार निर्वाचन मिति नजिकिँदै गर्दा विभिन्न ठाउँमा बम विस्फोट हुन थालेपछि जिल्लामा सुरक्षा सतर्कता बढाएइको छ ।
