An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was found near the house of Mohan Acharya, a candidate for the House of Representatives elections representing the Democratic Alliance on Monday morning. The IED was found at Laharepauwa in Uttaragaya Rural Municipality-5 in the district. A joint bomb disposal team from Nepal Army and Nepal Police based in Kalikasthan has been deployed in the incident site. A bomb was planted at Laharepauwa targeting the upcoming elections, said District Police Office, Rasuwa. प्रतिनिधि सभाका लागि लोकतान्त्रिक गठबन्धनतर्फबाट नेपाली काँग्रेसका उम्मेदवार मोहन आचार्यको घर नजिकै बम फेला परेको छ। रसुवाको उत्तरगया गाउँपालिका–५ लहरेपौवास्थित चौतारामा सुतली बम फेला परेको हो। बम राखिएको जानकारी पाए लगत्तै जिल्लाको कालिकास्थानबाट नेपाल प्रहरी र नेपाली सेनाको बम डिस्पोजल टोली घटनास्थलतर्फ खटिएको छ। निर्वाचनलाई लक्षित गरी बिहान ७ बजेतिर बम राखिएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयले जनाएको छ। निर्वाचनलाई लक्षित गरी अज्ञात समुहबाट बम राखिएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ। Police said they are investigating the case.
