CPN cadres threatening voters

The voters in Mugu have complained that they are getting threatening from the cadres of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) not to participate on upcoming election scheduled for November 26. Local Krishna Sejuwal of Chanyanath Rara Municipality-10 said that he was threatened by the cadre of NCP not to vote in the election. The cadres have also destroyed the flag and posters of political parties put in the house of locals in Chanya Nath Rara Municipality-10, Ghattalekh. Local supporter of UML Krishna Sejuwal was even beaten by the cadres after he asked not to remove the posters and flags. The cadres of Nepal Communist party are operating anti-election activities in eastern Karan region and Chayanath Municipality 10,11 and 12. The District security committee has categorized these are and other 18 polling centers as very sensitive. The election office of the district said that huge number of security is mobilized after getting the information on the activities of NCP cadres. The security has been directed to immediately arrest those involved in an anti-election activities. The cadres of Nepal Communist party have entered into the district from other district and security has been tightened due to the possible threat according to the District Administration Office. Chief District Office Uma Kanta Adhikari said that he received an information regarding the threat given by the cadres of Nepal Communist Party compelling voters not to vote.
