The police on Thursday evening seized materials used to trigger improvised explosive device from the house of a cadre of Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN in Buddhashanti rural municipality-2 in Jhapa. The police acting on a tip-off raided the house of Khom Prasad Lakandri, Mechi zone bureau member of the CPN, and confiscated materials that include four detonators, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Jitendra Bahadur Basnet, adding that nine cadres of the CPN-Maoist including Lakandri have already been arrested.
