Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s Nepali Congress-affiliated Nepal Students Union on Sunday launched a street protest against President Bidya Devi Bhandari urging her to enact the National Assembly ordinance at the earliest. The Union staged a demonstration from Pradarshani Marga to Shanti Batika of Ratna Park today. Participants of the protest rally chanted slogans demanding the earliest enactment of the ordinance in order to end the ongoing political stalemate. The Union has accused the President of trying to create a constitutional crisis by putting the ordinance on hold. कांग्रेससम्बद्ध नेवि संघ राष्ट्रियसभा गठनसम्वन्धी अध्यादेशलाई लिएर राष्ट्रपतिविरुद्ध सडकमा उत्रिएको छ । नेवि संघले आइतबार प्रदर्शनीमार्गबाट रत्नपार्कको शान्तिबाटिकासम्म प्रदर्शन गरेको हो । प्रदर्शनमा सहभागीहरुले ‘राष्ट्रपति ज्यू, लोकतन्त्र नजिता मात्र होइन, प्रक्रिया पनि हो, संविधानको रक्षा गर जस्ता नारा लगाएका थिए । राष्ट्रिय सभा गठन अध्यादेश रोकेर राष्ट्रपतिले संवेधानिक गतिरोध सृजना गर्न खोजेको नेवि संघको आरोप छ ।
