Sindhupalchok/ August 6 Ganga Kumari Shrestha, 32, of Ghorsu of Kadambas VDC-9 has lodged a complaint at District Police Office on August 6 against her husband Kumar Shrestha, 34, accusing him of beating and torturing her. According to the victim, she has been beaten by the accused on August 5 while she was at her home. The accused had married Ganga Kumari as a second wife six months ago. The accused is at large and the investigation is underway, according to SI Sunita Gurung of Women and Children Service Centre under District Police Office.
