Jumla/August 18 District Correspondent of Nagarak Daily DB Buda has been mistreated by Accountant at District Development Committee (DDC) Moon Bahadur Rawal on August 18. Rawal, 27, of Mahat VDC-7 manhandled Buda, 26, over a published news while the latter had gone to collect newspapers sent from Nepalgunj in the Jumla airport. According to Buda, Rawal had also arrived at the airport with a colleague and slapped him near the Shrestha Hotel. Buda said that reporter of Kantipur Television LP Devkota, Umesh Acharya of Avenues Television were also with him when the incident took place. Rawal had issued death threat to Buda over phone regarding the news of Local Development Officer being out of contact on the August 16 Western Regional Edition of the Daily.
