Panchthar, balika balatkaar ko aaropi giraftar. Panchthar/August 20 Police, on August 20, have arrested Prem Bahadur Bal Tamang, 60, of Yasok VDC-7 on charge of raping an 11-year-old girl. Family of the victim had filed a complaint at the police the same day. Medical check-up of the girl was conducted at the District Hospital in Panchthar. The hospital said that health condition of the victim was normal. According to her family, Bal had raped the girl after taking her to a field near their house on August 11. Inspector Sanjeev Babu Khadka of the District Police Office said that the accused was arrested following a tip-off that he was hiding at his house. Khadka said that Bal would be charged with rape.
